Rajasthan - CM inaugurates VAT electronic refund system

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has inaugurated an electronic VAT refund system for the relief of lakhs of traders in the state.

"Now VAT refunds could be directly deposited in the dealers account" she said yesterday while inaugurating the system.

The dealers will have to open an account and an e-mail in any computerised bank before applying to the sales tax department for getting an electronic refund, said an official.
