& Kashmir - KTMF for relaxing VAT norms
The
Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation (KTMF)
has said that the government should look into the matter
of relaxing the norms being set under the Value Added
Tax (VAT) regime while presenting the budget for the
next financial year. In a statement, a spokesman of KTMF
has said that if the government takes some steps in this
direction those would be highly welcome. He said that
the issue has been raised many times by the traders and
the time has come when some concrete measures are taken
in this respect.
The
spokesman said that the office bearers of various
district Association’s should come out with their
suggestions on any issue of business importance. He
added that the same should reach by November 28 and
after this they can be discussed in the working
committee of the Federation
