Germany's
Finance Ministry plans to abolish reductions on
value-added taxes (VAT) granted to certain products
under current legislation, magazine Der Spiegel
reported, citing a document the ministry transmitted to
the parliament's committee of finance.
In
many cases the VAT reductions are no longer based on
'valid grounds', the report cited the document as
saying.
