Dubai Customs launches second phase of VAT plan

Dubai Customs has launched the second phase of the Value Added Tax (VAT) programme in preparation for its implementation.

The Dubai Customs was studying the project and its feasibility for quite some time, and now it said it will move ahead towards the implementation of the tax system after finalisation of its legal framework and preparation of the infrastructure needed to levy the tax.
