Youth Cong to launch campaign for reduction of VAT on petrol in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress will launch a signature campaign from July 14 to force the BJP government in the state to reduce VAT and entry tax on various petroleum products. Addressing a press conference, state youth Congress president and MLA Priyawrat Singh, said the state government was unnecessarily sticking to its stand not to reduce VAT and entry tax on petroleum products. Singh said masses in the state were hit hard by the rising prices and the state government was not doing anything to curb them. He said the Youth Congress agitation would go on till the state government reduces taxes on petroleum products.
